Q1 2024 Performance of Top Air Travel Apps in Australia on Android

In the first quarter of 2024, Australia's air travel apps on Android have shown varied trends in downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Fly Bonza saw its downloads peak in late January at approximately 16K, with weekly active users reaching their highest at nearly 43K in the same period. Downloads and active users exhibited a general downward trend toward the end of the quarter.

Qantas Airways maintained a steady download rate, with a notable spike to over 9K in mid-February. Weekly active users for Qantas peaked at over 35K in the same timeframe, before experiencing a slight decline.

Virgin Australia's app also saw a surge in downloads in mid-February, with figures reaching over 6K. The trend in weekly active users for Virgin Australia mirrored this peak, topping at approximately 11K active users.

For Flightradar24 Flight Tracker, the revenue showed a healthy trend with a gradual increase, ending the quarter at around $4.8K. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight uptick in March, while weekly active users saw a consistent increase, ending with nearly 15K active users.

Lastly, Jetstar experienced modest fluctuations in downloads, with numbers remaining around the 3K mark. Weekly active users showed a slight upward trend, peaking at over 5K at the end of January.
